Moncton parks offer year-round fun for outdoor enthusiasts. Forested trails, varied terrain and family-friendly recreational activities await visitors. Plan your winter fun now!

❄️ Mapleton Park: Moncton’s Mapleton Park, located in the city’s north end, has miles of groomed trails for all winter enthusiasts, where you can walk, bike or snowshoe along the trail.

❄️ Centennial Park: Did you know that Moncton’s Centennial Park is home to Eastern Canada’s longest lit cross-country ski trail? That means you can enjoy outdoor fun, day or night! If skiing isn’t your thing, Centennial offers skating, snowshoeing, and tobogganing too. Take advantage of the snow and try it all this winter.

❄️ Riverfront Park and Tidal Bore: If you’ve never experienced the Tidal Bore in Moncton, head down 15 minutes before the scheduled arrival to see the highest tides in the world and over 100 billion tonnes of water come in and out of the bay! Plan to stay downtown for a bit and enjoy a stroll along Moncton’s Riverfront Trail. Through five kilometres of paved and gravel trails you can walk, run or bike along the banks of the Petitcodiac, one of Canada’s most unique rivers.

❄️ Irishtown Nature Park: For outdoor adventures, Moncton’s urban trails and parks feature forested walks, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Irishtown Nature Park is a 4-season beauty – with 890 hectares to explore, it’s easy to understand why this is a popular spot for locals!
