The Platypus is a mammal characterized by a duck bill, webbed feet, a flattened tail and oviparous reproduction. Platypus is also a handful of misfits who tell the story of the summer of 1990 in northern New Brunswick. Sardine, twelve years old, and his uncle Steve navigate among the secrets with their hearts beating to the rhythm of the pop sounds of the end of the twentieth century.
