Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park
The Hopewell Rocks are an exquisite site on their own, but add a vivid backdrop of fall colours, and their charm is instantly kicked up several notches. Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park, located just south of Moncton-Dieppe in the Bay of Fundy, is home to some of the world’s highest tides.
Visitors can walk down to the ocean floor at low tide and explore the flowerpot rock formations and sea caves formed over thousands of years of erosion, and just a few hours later, the tide will have completely filled the shore with millions of gallons of water. Be sure to bring proper footwear - it can be muddy out there!
Helpful tip: Tickets to Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park are valid for two consecutive days to allow you plenty of time to enjoy the park at hide tide and low tide. Be sure to check the tide tables while planning your visit.
