A Day of History and High Tides

Morning

All aboard! First stop: Hillsborough, 20 minutes outside Moncton-Dieppe, where history lessons await! Tour a steam locomotive, check out multiple exhibits and browse the vast array of artifacts at the New Brunswick Railway Museum before grabbing a bite at Cinnamon Soul Cafe. Be sure to stop in at Briggs Maples for sweet souvenirs before continuing to the Albert County Museum for a date with a dinosaur, and plenty of pirate lore and tales of true crime.

Afternoon

A trip here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to The Hopewell Rocks. Where else can you walk on the ocean floor, explore sea caves, and stare up in amazement at huge rock formations, only to return to the same spot a few hours later to kayak on top of the World’s Highest Tides?

Evening

Catch the sunset while horseback riding at Broadleaf Ranch before heading back into the city for an authentic Italian meal at Rocco’s Cucina in Riverview. After supper, take a stroll along the Petitcodiac to witness the Tidal Bore in action
