The Tidal Bore in New Brunswick Canada, occurs along the Petitcodiac River near Moncton & Riverview and is a naturally occurring phenomenon that is caused by the surging waters from the Bay of Fundy tides which are the highest tides in the world, that roar up the Petitcodiac River twice daily during the changing tides.

During the tourism season, stop by Moncton’s seasonal Visitor Information Centre located in Treitz Haus, Moncton’s oldest standing heritage building adjacent to Bore Park. You will receive exceptional travel tips to plan a memorable stay in our city!

Riverfront Park

Offering 5 km (3.11 mi.) of multi-use trails, this park offers floral displays, benches and the Celtic Cross monument. The trail is part of the Trans Canada Trail system. Portions are groomed for winter running. Other points of interest include Bore Park, Settlers Green, Hal Betts Sportsplex, and the Treitz Haus Visitor Information Centre.
Magnetic Hill

Magnetic Hill is an amazing natural phenomenon that has been baffling visitors for decades. Be amazed as you drive your car to the bottom of the hill – put it in neutral – and roll back uphill! Incredible!

Moncton Skateboard Park

Moncton Skateboard Park boasts a concrete facility in the heart of downtown Moncton. Accommodates skateboarders and rollerbladers of all abilities. Free admission.
Irishtown Nature Park

Canoeing, hiking and bird watching are just some of the activities enjoyed at this beautiful 890-ha (2,200-acre) park. Groomed cross-country ski trails are available in the winter.
Centennial Park

Boasting 93 ha (229.81 acres) of scenic parkland, this urban park offers fun and recreation throughout the year. Summer activities include: swimming in an artificial beach, SuperSplash Water Park, hiking, wheelchair accessible playground, tennis, and lawn bowling. Winter activities include: skating, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on the longest lit trails in eastern Canada. TreeGO® features children, junior and adult treetop obstacle courses.
